Eligibility

If you are a regular employee of Penn Valley Gas, working 30 or more hours per week, you are eligible to participate in the Medical plan. If you are a regular full-time employee working 40 or more hours per week, you are eligible to participate in all benefits. Benefits begin on the first of the month following 30 days from your date of hire. Part-time employees working less than 30 hours per week and seasonal employees are not eligible to participate.

If you don’t enroll by the date when your benefits will go into effect, you will not have the opportunity to do so until the next open enrollment period, unless you have a Qualifying Life Event.​

Eligible dependents include:

• Your legal spouse.

• Your children up to age 26. Only those dependents who meet the eligibility requirements can enroll for coverage.
